| There are more
different muscles in your forearms than any other large bodypart. The
forearm is capable of exerting crushing grip force, or the delicate
manipulation of a heart surgeon.
There are three general
categories. The first is the forearm supinator - a large meaty muscle on
the outer part of your forearm.
The second category is the
forearm flexor - a small bundle of muscles on the inside of your forearm -
contracting to close your fist or flex your fist.
The third category being
the forearm extensors a smaller bundle of muscle on the outer part of your
forearm that contract to extend your fingers and also contract to extend
your hand in relation to your forearm. |
