Sit
down on the machine seat and place the toes and balls of both feet on the
foot bar, yout heels and the rest of your feet hanging off into space.
Pull the pads to the rear and snugly over your knees. Push down with your
feet and release the stop bar. |

the weight attached to the pads over your knees to force your heels as far
below the level of your toes as comfortably possible to prestretch the
calf muscle. Without bouncing in the bottom position of the movement,
slowly push downward with your toes and rise up as high as possible on
your toes, fully extending your feet. Hold this for a slow count of two. |
