 Grasp two moderately weighted dumbells and lie back on a 30 - 45 degree inclined exercise bench. You can sit down if your bench has a seat. Allow your arms to hang straight downward from your shoulders, and rotate your wrists so your palms are facing forward at the beginning of the movement. be sure to hold your upper arms motionless throughout your set.

Use biceps strength to curl the dumbbells directly forward and upward to shoulder level. Hold this peak-contraction position for a moment while intensely contracting the biceps muscles.

Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the start position under control.
