| The back
is a large and complex grouping of muscles.
Their primary
functions are to draw the elbows backwards, draw them down, raise
the shoulders towards the ears and straightening the body.
In a simplified view,
the muscle is inserted onto the Scapula, the spine and the hip.
It's primary
attachment is part way down the Humerus of the arm.
Compound exercises of
the shoulders will work the biceps and to a smaller extent, the leg
biceps. |
