Recommended Serving
Always follow the serving instructions on the product label, as some of the ingredients
in these types of products can be unpleasant, or even dangerous, if taken in
significantly excess levels.
The body will adjust to most of
the thermogenic products on the market over a period of time. In general, they
will be far less effective after about 8 weeks, so it's a good idea to take a 4
week break after every 8 weeks use.
Serving Timings
Thermogenics are best taken about 30 minutes before breakfast, 30 minutes before
lunch, and 30 minutes before your evening meal. If you do early morning cardio
training, then take your first serving 30 minutes before hand.
Because thermogenics increase
training energy, you may prefer to take one of your daily servings prior to
weight training.
One of the effects of
thermogenics are that they stimulate the body, reducing the feel for a need to
sleep (much like coffee can), and therefore many people decide not to take the
third serving of the day. People who do find they struggle to sleep should take
the final serving 6 hours prior to bed time.
How to Take It
On the first day take a small serving before breakfast (if you can take a half
size serving, thats even better). Once you feel comfortable with this, take an
additional serving before lunch. Again, wait a day or two, or until you feel
comfortable with the serving, then take a third serving for the day.
Always take half a pint of water
with a serving of thermogenic products.
Supplement Facts
1. There are many thermogenic ingredients,
some are suitable for everyone, some less so. Check every ingredient on our
website to make sure its appropriate for you.
2. Thermogenics cause an increase
in energy output, you can therefore lose weight even without changing your diet.
However, for optimum results follow one of our suggested diet
plans.
3. Eating a high protein diet,
and perhaps including meal replacement drinks in your diet, will enhance the
effectiveness of thermogenic agents. It will also encourage a feeling of
fullness for longer, reducing appetite.
4. You can stack thermogenics
with almost any other supplement, but if using creatine, glutamine or other
products that don't dissolve well, then remember to drink water in larger
amounts than usual.
