Below we asked three
trainers their views and opinions from the following
supplements CNP's ProLean SF, Isatori's Lean System 7 and SAN's Tight. These people have been training and using sport
supplements for over two years.

loss supplements, that you have all tried and used and you wish to share with
us your views and opinions. So
what do you think overall of these things - are they a gimmick or do they
help with your fat loss goals? |

- One hundred percent. Help. Never diet without them. Dont actually
think I can. Hahaha. Phil
- I think they are helpful of course when you use them correctly. What
you have to remember is that they are not the cornerstone of your fat loss
program right. They are just there to speed it along and help out. But
they definately are not a gimmick. Julie
- I actually think they're better than drugs. If Im being honest. Well
some of them are. These days.

than drugs. Wow. So which ones did you take and how easy were they to
stick to a regime. We all agreed before that they only worked on a
consistent basis right. |

- Well I was taking the Lean System 7. Good product. Lots of benefits.
Dead easy to take. Basically I would take a few capsules before breakfast
on an empty stomach and then the same before my afternoon workout. On non
training days Id just have them around the same time about half an hour
before my tea. Dead easy - but yeah, to work you have to take them. You
cant miss a few days and then expect results sparodically popping pills.
Dave - Hehe. No I
dont know about mine. Phew! These babies were mind blowing. They'll
probably be banned or something soon. They are like drugs. Take them once
a day and you're off your head. Stimulated like your on something really
strong. You can feel in your heart and fingers - gittery. I was taking the
Tight by SAN. Dead easy to use. Just once a day. You cant really forget
that now can you?
Julie - I was using
the ProLean. Like the Lean System I took them like Phil. Easy to use and
you just get into the habit of taking them. But I didnt feel anything like
that what Dave said.

So,
lets talk about the feeling these supplements give you. The effects and
the side effects.

- Well Ive taken fat loss products before and I used to get the shakes
off them. Beating heart, gittery hands and that. Couldnt sleep at night
and felt edgey and nervous. I didnt get any of that on these. These are
stimulant free so they are much milder to your nervous system. I felt
great. Thay actually give you more energy - I think they change the way
your metabolism works so you produce more energy.
Dave - Well I like
that feeling. I like to feel them working and flooding through your
system. I just use all that extra energy and adrenalin they produce to get
excited and work out harder and that makes me sleep like you wouldnt
believe. I definately am much stronger when Im taking these Tight. They
really stimulate your system and make you push harder.
Phil - The ones I
had, the Lean System seemed much milder too. Although I could tell they
were effective and probably did stimulate my system, they were not
unpleasant in any way.

And
lets talk about the results. You all had some interesting comments
earlier. What do you think about what these products did for you overall
in terms of assisting fat loss?

- Well these things helped me get my diet on track. when I knew I was
taking these I knew I was focused to lose weight. Normally I can get rid
of about two pounds per week. When I was taking these I was shifting three
pounds per week and feeling more enrgetic. I think Id use them long term
for two to three months for maximum effect. They would get you into
contest shape with the right diet.
Julie - Yeah. I
noticed that although they felt totally mild, my appetite was less, much
less. I felt I had more energy, so I was doing more stuff and keeping more
active. However I dont believe I specifically altered my diet to try and
lose weight but at the end of the month I was 4 and a half pounds lighter.
so they work really well. Even if you aren't being particularly strict.
Dave - Totally. If
thats what you want. The Tight I combined with a ketone diet. I think its
the sort of supplement you would use once in a while to get into immortal
shape. I mean the last four to five weeks of a strict diet to get your
energy right up top and to shed off any last layers of fat. They're like
the mind blowing icing on the cake!

Suggestions of how to combine these for maximum effect with diet and
training? |

- Well since they seem to suppress your appetite Id say dont eat
breakfast, and do thirty minutes of CV on an empty stomach and have your
breakfast later in the morning when you felt like it. This is like what
Body For Life used to say.
Dave - Ahhh, depends
on what you are looking for. A say just take a dose before training and
hit the weights hard. Lots of protein and oils and less carbs is usually
the best way to get shredded isnt it.
Phil - Maybe. I
still think a low fat diet is the way - since its a 'fat loss' program and
these things are designed to shift and mobilise more fats for usage as
fuel. But keep training the same and slowly increase CV over the months.

Would
you combine these products with any other for better or faster effect?

- Hot Rox by Biotest. Dont know whats in that one - I dont think
anybody does really - but thats a real powerful one. I think one of these
Tight in the morning and a Hot Rox at night would be awesome.
Phil - Maybe a
hardening agent. Methoxy or a prohormone.
Julie - Good quality
whey protein like Promax or something like that. Keep preserving muscle to
keep your metabolic rate high.
