fat loss, commonly used by bodybuilders and athletes for superior performance
and leaner bodies. It is currently and most commonly being manufactured in tablets
that also contain caffiene. Its effects on the body are almost identical to
the effects of Ma Huang, another very popular, yet controversial ephedra extract.
Like its relatives (Ma Huang, Pseudoephedrine), it is also effective as an anti-asthmatic
treatment. It is considered as diaphoretic, diuretic, and central nervous system
stimulating. The Sida Cordifolia plant is native to India and contains approximately
1% of the alkaloid that is known as ephedrine.

alongside a good strength gain.
More About Sida Cordifolia
Sida Cordifolia has been used in India for over 2,000 years to treat
bronchial asthma cold & flu, chills, lack of perspiration, headache, nasal
congestion, aching joints and bones, cough & wheezing, and edema. In Western
terms, Sida Cordifolia is considered to have diaphoretic, diuretic, central
nervous system stimulating and anti-asthmatic properties.
Sida Cordifolia is an extract of the Sida cordifolia plant containing 0.8%
to 1.2% of the alkaloid ephedrine. It is considered to be one of the most valuable
drugs in Ayurveda. It was used by Ayurveda physicians as an antipyretic in febrile
and infectious diseases, and also as an aphrodisiac.
Usage Indications
Typically Sida Cordifolia is stacked alongside a form or caffeine and aspirin
for maximum results. Best results are seen with 100 - 200mg of this herb per
dose, at around two to three doses per day.
Side effects and ContraIndications:
The continuous use of products with ephedrine can bear a series of risks to
health. Its effects, similar to those of the amphetamines, can be more counteractive
when ephedrine is taken in combination with other stimulants, especially with
the caffeine. One has to keep in mind that many products considered as natural
medicines either to diminish weight, or for the treatment of breathing ailments,
contain this component. By not being aware of its presence, or when ignoring
its contraindications, a prolonged use, specially combined with other stimulants,
can be harmful. On the other hand, we don't have to forget that the mentioned
alkaloid needs every time higher doses to achieve the same objectives. For these
reasons many states of United States have prohibited the use of the ephedrine
in the dietary complements.
This is particularly relevant to the chemical Ephedrine, and use of a herbal
equivalent such as Sida Cordifolia actually greatly reduces these risks, although,
one should be particularly careful if they are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
