NUTRITION PROGRAM

In this section of the website are a range of nutrition programs, each with valid principles supporting them. These programs have been grouped into four broad groups based on the fundamental goals of most athletes and weight trainers and those interested in self improvement.

Athlete's Nutrition Plan
The goal many athletes would have of their nutrition program would be to reduce body fat and gain lean body mass. This type of program would provide sufficient fuel for energy for training and improving performance, and sufficient building materials for repair and increasing muscle mass and strength.

Weight Gain
If you carry significantly less muscle mass than required, you might want to focus on gaining weight for a period of time. These types of programs would suit those who struggle to gain weight and are naturally slim or who focus on gaining power during 'off season' periods. It would also benefit people who may be carrying a reasonable level of muscle, but who are having difficulty in making further progress.

Fat Loss
At some point most, if not all, weight trainers and athletes require to lose body fat at a greater rate than their current nutrition program is providing, whilst still maintaining their strength and muscle mass levels.
These type of programs can help those with significant levels of muscle tissue and a last few pounds of body fat, right through to those with significant body fat levels.

What Do I Do When My Goals Are Achieved and I Need To Change Diet?
Flowing smoothly from one diet to another based upon your ever changing and updating goals when you have achieved your desired results. Once you have a grip on your nutrition and how it is affecting and changing your body it may be wise to follow a periodized nutrition plan as outlined within this section.
