59 ESSENTIAL SUBSTANCES
Human life is dependant on the body obtaining 59 substances. Some are as easily
obtained as the air we breath, whilst others are found in the foods we eat,
some in abundance and others in minute quantities. In order for the human body
to function it requires these essential substances. Without the essential substances,
your body would not exist, or a shortage over a period of time of these essential
substances, and your body will stop functioning properly and then eventually
die. Not only do we require these essentials but we require certain quantities
of them, in order to not only function, but to function optimally.Below is a
table showing you all of the essential substances for human life itself. These
include gasses we breathe in through our respiratory system that keep us alive,
water (that your body comprises 70% of), Amino Acids from protein, essential
fats, and micro nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. Collectively these
are the building blocks for life itself. Without these elements in the correct
or optimised quantities you will not function well at all. A deficiency of any
of these critical building blocks of course leads to death.
