Carb Block by USN
Carb Block contains both wheat and white kidney bean derived amylase
inhibitors, which have been scientifically proven to optimally delay or
prevent digestion of starches. It works by temporarily and safely inhibiting
the digestive enzyme alpha-amylase. The potent amylase inhibitors used,
have been shown to inhibit both pancreatic and salivary amylase to a maximal
degree, decreasing the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates in both
the stomach and intestines.
Directions for use of Carb Block:
1-3 Carb Block capsules before a carbohydrate-rich meal.
Caution: Do not exceed an intake of 9 Carb Block capsules per day, as
high amounts of amylase inhibitors may cause diarrhoea due to the effects
of undigested starch in the colon. Diabetics taking medications to lower
their blood sugar level, should not take amylase inhibitors without first
consulting a doctor. There are no known drug interactions for Carb Block.
However please consult your physician before use if you have any medical
condition (especially when relating to the digestive system). Contains
wheat as an allergen. Use of Carb Block in conjunction with a sensible
diet and exercise programme is recommended for optimal weight control.
Carb Block is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
