[Optimum Health Nutrition] Detox and Cleanse: This is pretty good stuff. The only drawback for me was the slight cramping sensation you get when its working through your gut. But this is a good thing. It has an almost laxative-like effect, though not quite as harsh.

I think all Bodybuilders or anyone heavily using supplements can benifit from this product. By having a clear out you get better absorbtion of the nutrients from your food and supplements etc into your system.

Make sure youre near a toilet though because the need to go can sometimes creep up on you at the most unexpected time! Richard

Detox and Cleanse [Optimum Health Nutrition]: Right this is my experience, i wanted a detox and thought this was the best most cost effective option for an all in one detox product. and let me start by sayin i have a stomach of steel, but this stuff gave me the most insane stomach pains for about a day and then left me bloated for a couple days after that! after buying this supplement months ago, i tried it once and got stomach pains so i left it for a while and thought ill give it a go in a few days so tried it again and the saem happened again so i left them in the draw and a few months later i had forgot about my experience and taken it again, after waking up half way through the night with the same stomach cramps i realised that this had happened before and put them straight in the bin!! im just warning you as normally my stomach is like steel, but hey this stuff jus didn work for me Sam

Detox and Cleanse by Optimum Health Nutrition: very good product, i base this judgement after 2 caps of this stuff as i couldnt stop goin to the loo lol made me feel less bloated even after a day. only there wa a downside, after the second cap i had heart palpitations for about an hour or so after which was very scary! it can only be down to that as these are the only difference in my normal day. im now left with 88 caps which i cant use, any chance of a refund or exchange but i wud say this is a personal problem and dont let it put you off cos they really do work right from the first cap sam

You will notice an effect within 3 days, but use it for 5-7 days. Try to drink 250ml of water every 2 hours or so. Drop all tea, coffee and alcohol.

They are both excellent products BigB. I would say the primary difference is the detox and cleanse is best used in short detoxes as it is very powerful and can produce laxative effects if used too much. It is excellent for the start of a diet or for finishing up, or for use over a weekend after poor dietary choices or a holiday. The Colon Flush by BCL is a lot milder and is designed for more regular use. It also is designed to improve natural healthy bacteria in the digestive tract so it improves your other supplements digestion.

Essentially think of this as the short term heavy duty product for instant effects and the Super Colon Flush as a long term defensive detox aid for slower but still effective effects.

Detox and Cleanse [Optimum Health Nutrition]: I am doing formadrol extreme two weeks on two weeks off and was wondering could I use detox cleanse at one or two caps (or what ever you recommend) on my off cycle every two weeks.
What harm would it do if I kept this cycle going even at low doses of detox cleanse.
I am looking to lean out without stimulants and was hoping this stack/cycle could be the key.
As you adviced me on the formadrol product I would take a break form this cycle every three months or so and was wondering could I do the same with this product so long as I kept drinking water and eating right.
I am also buying this product for my wife would two caps per day be ok for a women or is this product not gender sensitive.

Detox and Cleanse is absolutely fine for both men and women, it works exactly the same way with the digestive system.

You can certainly use detox and cleanse fairly regularly if you wish, however it's main purpose is to clear the digestive system of toxins, waste food debris, unwanted bacteria etc. This generally means a very rapid drop in bloat and excess water weight as well as increased fat loss and more energy. However after about a week or two of cleansing you will probably not see further benefit for a while as your digestive system should be pretty much in top condition and functioning well. There is no real need to re-use this product again until you'd possibly built up further toxins or had a period of poor diet, junk food, alcohol, caffeine etc Generally we see benefits in clients for about two weeks and then recommend a 'top up' phase once a month, generally just for a few days at a time. Perhaps every three months you could do a full two week run again to cleanse your digestive tract, but personally I don't think it would need to be used in a two week on and off format.

You can certainly look at non stimulant fat burning or energy enhancing compounds which can help get and keep you lean. Products such as the USN CLAgreentea help support your metabolism and have some fat burning properties without being a stimulant compound. Also any products with alpha lipoic acid help control blood sugar and improve insulin response and controlling insulin is one of the key factors in reducing fat storage and keeping it off.

Obviously water intake is vital. You may also want to look at the Optimum Health Deplete which is a diuretic for increased removal of unwanted water bloat. Although it will not do much about actual fat, a lot of the bloat around the stomach etc is often water retained under the skin which is unhealthy and unneccesary.
