Depends what your after. The elite whey is a real nice tasting supplement but on a weight for weight basis, penny for penny basis, instant whey is a better quality product

Elite Whey by Dymatize: hi guys, recently read do not consume more than 2 - 3 servings a day on the tub. currently having 8 - 10 servings a day inbetween 5 meals - doubled serving each time 4 - 5 shakes. bigger, stronger and leaner than iv ever been just with this recent diet alone. worked really well. just wondered is there any health issues regarding the warning as to the amount of servings consumed thankyou

Chris the amount you consume will really depend on your overall size and exercise programme, for instance a 215lb user with very low bodyfat working out 5 days a week hard will need a lot more protein than a 175lb user with medium bodyfat working out 3 days a week. Generally the warnings are given to make sure people do not avoid real whole foods and consume only shakes. Obviously whole foods contain a lot of fibre, trace elements, healthy phytonutrients from vegetables etc which simply aren't present in even the best protein shakes. So as long as you are getting a decent amount of whole foods, you may find more meals is better for your personal body needs. Many of us who are maintaining a larger muscular physique with low body fat will be consuming up to nine meals or snacks a day. It sounds as if you are having more than that but as long as you are utilising it and maintaing low bodyfat it would seem to be working for you. Despite some ill informed rumours, there are no health issues with high protein diets in active individuals at all, although if you start adding bodyfat at any stage you may find you are having too much. Although difficult the body can turn excess protein into fat eventually it is a lot more complex than carbs or fats.

Essentially if you are growing new muscle and staying lean, keep it up, if you notice any bodyfat increases then you may want to reduce the amounts slightly. Also remember to keep drinking water as high protein intake can dehydrate you if you don't mix the shakes up with plenty of fluid.
