[CytoSport] Monster Milk

Monster Milk: Good product, chocolate flavour tastes lovely.
But with only 20 servings per tub it can work out expensive.

Monster Milk by CytoSport: Hi hope you can help..

I am looking to gain size as im looking to compete as an amatuer in bodybuilding .. Now Im not sure which is best for me .. I like the look of MONSTER MILK but CytoSport Complete Whey has a high protien/carb ratio per 100g..

100g of Monster milk gives 416 kcal with 59.6g of protien but 100g of Complete Whey still gives me 409kcal but with 81.8g or protien.. Can i not just comsume 200g a day of complete whey.. instead of 200g of Monster Milk for example.

Yes Jason, you can. It's up to you to fit them into your macronutrient intake for the day and work out how many protein / carbs / fats you need to work most effectively.

[CytoSport] Monster Milk: Is it safe to take muscle milk and monster milk im completely new to this stuff and under 18 so im not sure

danny, protein powders are absolutely safe to use unless you have any intolerances to the ingredients - i.e lactose for some. It's basically food in powdered form as a simplication, and these sports supplements would be fine for you unless you have any specific allergies to dairy sports supplements.

Monster Milk: Hi. Im currently taking NO Explode and was wondering if it s possible to take Monster Milk at the same time. Both sports supplements contain creatine so my concerns were where I could do any damage by double dosing. Thanks

Alex, good observation. However, do not panic. The dosage in BSN's NO-Xplode is in what's called a "proprietary blend" so there is no actual amount actually specified, however, there is a huge list of ingriedients so it is likely thye creatine dosage is fairly minimal (possibly 2-3grams at the most). Monster Milk contains only a gram per serving which would mean that a serving of Monster Milk daily along with NO-Xplode would likely give you maybe 3grams of various types of creatine, daily.

Considering there are plenty of guys who take up to two servings of cyclone daily (which contains 10g of creatine) you have no reason to worry. Combine both sports supplements happily.

Just finished my Whole Gains. Great product! I m looking at trying one of these Cytosport protein sports supplements next.

I use AfterGlow on my training days, so I m not sure if I need the Kre-Alkalyn so much, although this will be great for my non-training days.
Everything else about this supplement seem to suit my needs perfectly.

What are the other differences between this and Muscle Milk Is the amount of BCAA s, Glutamine and Fibre similar I m not sure which one to go for.

Monster Milk is fairly similar to Muscle Milk, although it is a higher protein and carb formula but misses out on the healthy fats and other colostrum type milk sports supplements found in the original muscle milk. Monster Milk obviously benefits from the kre-alkalyn and other creatine matrix ingredients. It's best to think of them as variations on a theme. If Muscle Milk is the great all round muscle food, then Monster Milk is the rapid gain version for those who find it hard to pack size on. Personally I would say they could be swapped in and out or use Monster Milk while in gaining mode and switch to Muscle Milk when maintaining or aiming for a leaner physique.
