The Golds Gym Ab-Swinger Max is a simple, effective and comfortable
tool for training the abs. Whilst it is particularly effective for
training the lower abs, it also trains the side of the waist and the upper
stomach muscles. The exercise is performed by sitting on the Ab-Swinger,
finding the balance point, and then raising your legs. The exercise can be made
more difficult by adding weight discs to the foot position. It usually takes
one or two attempts to get the movement right (a hard tightening in the lower
abdominal region), but after that you simply aim for 2-3 sets of 10-20 reps, and
add a little weight when (if!!) this gets too easy for you. The Ab-Swinger is
partly assembled, and takes around 5-10 minutes to put together. It can be
stored flat, and is only a few inches high in the folded position.
