[BodyActive Nation] ZMA: ZMA - Training natural just now and going to add ZMA to my suppliments. I know lots of food interfere with the way ZMA is absorbed and for best results should be taken at least an hour after food just before bed. I usually take a slow release protien before bed. If I take the ZMA about and hour before a shake or cottege cheese will this effect the ZMA |

Taking ZMA before bed is a great addition to any natural athletes supplement routine and you are correct there are several things which can delay ZMA absorption. Nonetheless if you intend on taking it 1 hour before your night time shake you should be fine. Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin B6 will not require digestion in the stomach and so pass into the intestines to enter the bloodstream fairly rapidly after ingestion. |
