[Reflex] Instant Whey: I really rate this product. I ve been using throughout the day mixed with soaked oats and yoghurt for a great replacement meal. Tastes great with milk and alright with water. For an after workout with water only, I like banana flavour. I ve currently got raspberry which I m not a fan of at all, I d really suggest people avoid. Doesn t seem to mix as well as banana either. Going to try choc next. Have seen good lean growth. Would recommend! Josh

Instant Whey [Reflex]: well i buy the chocolate 4 kg put 2 scoops in the blender 3 raw eggs take the yoak out of the eggs put milk with it blend it all togerther , make sure u do a good work out so your akeing the next day lol iv at to sell my old clothes on ebay grown out of them lmao much stronger plus my boxin bag feels much lighter. great stuff even better put some ice cream with it use blender for best results and eat well ... try ebay for blenders really cheap thats about. andy

Instant Whey by Reflex: Used this for 3 months solid. Got a good diet and been training well. Made good progress, lost body fat and gained a bit of size. Increased weight by over 2kg. The product tastes great, mixes so easily and to think I only got it because its label claims more protein per 100g than any other mixed whey.

Hi Drew, if you do the math then you'd get more out of the 10lb bag when converting it. Also, bear in mind the price difference you would get when buying it in bulk this way, as opposed to four small tubs.

Microwhey goes through a more specific progress of filtration from normal whey concentrate (Instant Whey). Therefore it will contain more specific fractions and peptides that are absorbed more efficiently and quickly and inevitably produce a greater level of protein synthesis.

Instant Whey [Reflex]: instant whey or peptide fusion, which would be best

Well that would depend on your goals. Peptide Fusion is obviously a more suitable protein to take throughout daily intervals, before bed, etc. However, if you just intended to use a fast acting protein maybe in the morning or after a workout to quickly replenish yourself, then instant whey may be more desirable.

[Reflex] Instant Whey: I ve been using Instant Whey and BCAA tablets for just 5/6 weeks now and have seen a very slight improvement in my build. However, I am a fairly thin guy and want to bulk up quite a bit. How long should it be before I start noticing significant results I ve been taking 2 shakes per day and then using the BCAA tablets daily as recommended. One shake during training and one before going to bed at night. Is there a better time to be taking the shakes Will I experience much better results if I take 3 shakes a day Or is it more to do with the level of weights I m lifting My diet is nothing special - 3 normal meals a day and I do have a high metabolism. Just want some idea of when I can determine if this is the product for me before perhaps trying others. Thanks for your help.

Hi John, first off, thanks for the detailed passage regarding yourself, it helps me be more individualistic and tailor my answers more appropriately.

You mention that it is your goal to improve your physique and add muscle mass. Well let's start off with the basics. You need a caloric surplus for this to happen, which means along with only 3 whole meals, supplementing with a couple of shakes should be fine. However, do i think Instant Whey will help you achieve this goal quicker? Absolutely not. It is an excellent product but there are only calories from protein. Get yourself a decent weight gainer such as Critical mass, and you will notice a rapid improvement. Consume this after your workout, and once during the day as a substitute in between meals. That's an additional 1400 calories or so right there! As opposed to only what, the 200 you might get from Instant Whey. You'll still get your protein needs out of this as well. Continue to take the BCAA's as normal, that is fine. Do not worry about getting fat. You have a fast metabolism, and you're using the shakes at appropriate times in the day where they'll be absorbed and used efficient - i.e post workout.

It is important to note that whey is a rapidly digesting protein, therefore before bed is not desirable. It will not stay in your bloodstream over night and to solve this, simply pick up some cottage cheese or something that has casein protein in it. Peptide Fusion by reflex may be another good option to throw in here and it will last you ages if you just have it before bed.

Continue training heavily with weights and progressively lifting heavier. It's the best way to stimulate muscular growth and you should always aim to lift heavier weights in the gym with good form between each session.

Although debatable, protein does not directly store as fat in the body if not utilized. It gets excreted as waste and passed through the urea if there is an excess, or will be broken down as an energy substrate if there is a lack of function for that in the body.

With that being said, instant whey is extremely unlikely to add fat onto you unless you're already consuming a diet extremely high in calories - and even then, it would most likely be the carbs and the fats you need to re-adjust, never the protein.
