Yes, its a bad idea. N-Large will prevent you losing bodyfat, its just too high in calories. I used it myself for several years, and its a great product to gain mass, however, if youre carrying too much fat, address that issue first.
Use a lower calorie weight gain such as instant mass. This provides sufficient energy to train hard, loads of protein for muscle growth, but much less carbs allowing fat loss to take place.
Focus on getting stronger at each workout. This will stimulate muscle growth. Keep the bodyweight pretty constant. If you get stronger, muscle is being built. If your weight is constant, youre losing fat.
On this bais you can reduce bodyfat by about 5% in 8 to 12 weeks whilst adding a few pounds of muscle.

N-Large by ProLab: is the carbs in this good quality and if so how do you know, is this product tested to make sure the staements are 100 correct.

Sunny, that would depend on what you perceive as "good quality". This product contains mainly maltodextrin as the carbohydrate source which has a very high G.I rating similar to sugar. So it would be a good product for hardgainer or can be used as a post-workout product.

As for as the statements, I don't know what Pro-lab have claimed this product will do but you have to remember this is just calories in a powdered form, made easily to be digested efficiently.

Many people dont tolerate large amounts of milk. Try the following

1. Take the product in water, not milk.
2. Take the product 2-3 hours either side of a solid food meal.
3. Reduce the serving size to a single scoop, and increase its size slightly with each serving.

ProLab N-Large: If looking to put on maximum amount of mass in short space of time for a hard gainer would this be best or an all in one such a synergy etc

Daryl for a genuine hard gainer with a very fast metabolism for initiating overall mass a product such as N Large would be far preferable to an all in one which would be more suited to someone looking to recomp with a little lean gain and some fat loss o or those engaging in sporting activites as well as weight training. N Large may not be required long term but for the initial foundation for hardgainers this would be more than ideal for 6 to 12 months or so.

N Large is in the top 5 for the very hard gainers out there. It has quality protein and high calories and tastes good. The other excellent options for extreme hard gainers are Mammoth, Nutrisport Weight Gainer, CNP Pro-Mass and the Atlas Super Gainer. Th hese all provide excellent whey protein high energy carbs and are easily digestable. For those who gain fat just as easily though the Reflex Instant Mass contains better fibre and overall nutrients for mass gain without bloat.
