Thermobol by Maximuscle: Personally, Thermobol does for me what I expected it to do - and that is, gives me the extra energy-kick I need at 5.30pm after work and I m heading for a 60-min weight-session or a 30-min run/cycle.
Previously, I d always relied on something carby or a sugary energy-drink to get me going, so Thermobol does this without any noticable side-effects at all: no headaches, no sweats, no buzz , no tingling and funnily enough, no sleepless nights.
I just get a not-knackered feeling 20mins after Ive taken a tablet.
Whatever weight (i.e. fat) reduction effect they have on me remains to be seen as I ve only been taking them for 7 days (2 per day, 8am and 4pm)

In this respect they work very well, so my rating is May Do Something , based on how your lifestyle is....but anyone taking them to purely shift fat without weight-training/cardio-training/balanced-diet eating is going to be confused or frustrated.

[Maximuscle] Thermobol: Frankly I don t believe this type of thing makes any difference. The only way you could tell would be to maintain a bad diet and take these. Or you could take them during a diet phase when you ve stopped dropping weight. If you then lost weight it d prove the efficacy of the tablets. And if that were the case it would be a medical revolution. What Thermobol did for me was provide a massive energy boost Better than any other pre-workout formula. This might be because I don t take caffiene in any other form. I m wired for hours... Nik

[Maximuscle] Thermobol: I just started these tablets a couple of days ago, Taking 3 a day - 1 at 8am 1 at 12 and 1 at 4pm. i work 12 hours a day so i normally try and walk for an hour after work as between work and having 3 kids i don t have time to go to the Gym always.

My diet is consisting of - Fruit in the morning, Salad or soup in the afternoon with fruit and then dinner which changes. I have noticed the energy boost and hopefully the weight loss will come.. right now i am at a massive 19 stone - stopped smoke 2 years ago and its pilled on.

Thermobol: Hi, when trying to lose fat, if exercising in the morning - do you recommend taking thermobol and doing exercise on an empty stomach Would this help burn more fat

Hi Amy

Doing exercise in particular cardiovascular workouts first thing in the morning before eating will help you metabolise more bodyfat as glycogen stores are more depleted first thing in morning. However this also makes you more succeptible to catabolism i.e. muscle wastage, so even a light breakfast before training is recomended. A simple protein shake would be sufficient as it provides the amino acids to prevent muscle wastage, yet doesn't contain many carbohydrates or calories making burning bodyfat still easier.
You are also welcome to take thermobol before the morning exercise as this will help burn even more calories during the training session.

Maximuscle Thermobol: Hiya, I juz wanna know weather this is the best thing for me. Im 17, 78kg and 174cm tall. Atm I juz started taking thermobol + promax diet bar. My plan is taking 2 thermobol tablet (one in the morning about 7am, one 12am) then take the promax diet bar at about 2-3pm, daily. Do you think this is sensible enough, Im not a regular gym user or something, I juz do regular workout such as push up+pull up, with some weigth exercises. Also for cardio, what would you say swimming or running or cycling And for the last question, the days that Im not gonna be doing exercises, shall I still take the thermobol and the promax diet bar as usual

Yes taking both promax diet bars and thermobol is beneficial to your physqiue on training and non-training days.
Regarding cardio everyone is different, any exercise which stimulates your muscles and burns a lot of calories is ideal. If it is weight loss, in particular bodyfat loss remember that you simply need to ensure the amount of calories you ingest is less than what your body requires.

[Maximuscle] Thermobol: Hiya!, I hv juz started using Thermobol and promax diet bars today and I was aware of the caffeine content so I took 2 thermobol tablets with additional of 1 promax diet bar today (first tablet 9am, second tablet 12am and the promax diet bar 2:30pm) . I was planning to continue sticking to this plan, daily, do you think this is a good plan And for the days that I couldn t workout/exercise, do you think I should still take these thermobol promax diet bar Thanks in advance :D

Hi Baz

You can continue taking the thermobol and promax diet bars as you indicated. If you wish you can increase your servings of thermobol up to 3 capsule per day however take it in the afternoon to avoid restlessness at night e.g. at 3pm would be suitable.
Taking both supplements on days off training would still be recomended as this will ensure on training and non-training days your metabolism is continually elevated and the protein in the bars will assist muscle recovery during your rest.

P90X fan Question

[Maximuscle] Thermobol: Hi, I have been using the diet Promax for about 3 months now, whilst doing Beachbody s P90X. The thing is, I have now found out I am a month pregnant. I want to carry on working out throughout the pregnancy, but am not sure if its ok to still use the diet Promax I usually add bio yoghurt and lots of fruit to it too....

Maximuscle Thermobol: For the last 5 months Ive been doing weight-training 3-4x per week with maybe 1-2 additional cardio sessions. I do the 5-6 small meals a day (mainly fish. chicken, eggs as the primary contents) and drink 500ml of Sci-MX GS5 Protein System 2x a day.
With the above, my gains have been improving quite well until 2 weeks ago I suffered a shoulder injury, which has caused me to stop using weights totally.
Instead, I am running/cardio-ing 3-4x a week and taking 2 Thermobol tablets each day in additional to the above diet.

Simple question: will 2x Thermobol per day plus 3-4x cardio plus same 5-6 meals/Sci-MX but minus weight-training have any reverse-effects on my size/shape gains

Hi Carl,

Yes, it can do, if you're not weight training. You may start to appear softer and more flat as your cells lose that 'hard' look that weight training will induce. Some light weights should be able to help you maintain your size.
